Hardware Technician


Job Description:

To support STA’s users by providing technical assistance with the installation, repair and updating of hardware and software as well as resolving technical problems. 

  • Provide outstanding customer service  and teamwork is essential.
  • Windows 10 /11 experience is required.
  • Knowledgeable with Office 365 applications and services.
  • Builds trust and respect, through establishing relationships with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Take initiative to find ways to solve complex problems. 
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware (PCs, printers, scanners) and software applications.
  • Must be an independent thinker with the ability to solve problems.
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Trains users on proper hardware and software usage.
  • Comply with policies and procedures.
  • Performs related duties as requested.

  • A minimum of 3 – 5 years related experience. 
  • Experience in designing and implementing solutions in Microsoft on-premises and cloud hybrid environments.
  • Ability to analyze or deploy new business solutions and integrate them within the existing business systems.
  • Applied knowledge in general infrastructure components and techniques, including:
    • VMWare, Cisco, Meraki, Veeam, DUO.
    • Microsoft Windows Server versions 2012R2, 2016, 2019 in Active Directory environment
    • Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) / Office 365 / Intune MDM
