Providing Peace of Mind at The Manor at Seneca Hill

Syracuse Time & Alarm Co., Inc. recently installed a Resident Wandering System at The Manor at Seneca Hill in Oswego, NY. Upon admission, each wanderer is now given a state-of-the-art Positioning Tag that can be worn like a wristwatch. This allows the resident free movement within the allowed detection zones. Now, when a wanderer tries to leave an exit door or elevator, it will set off an alarm triggering existing maglocks to lock down. This prevents the resident from mistakenly wandering out of the building. The system will then generate a complete history report of the event. The staff now has an easier time locating the residents who are a threat to wander or leave the facility.
